As Sales and People Operations Lead, you’ll play a critical role in improving and scaling our operations to help Transform Tutoring more effectively serve our quickly-growing customer base. You will work to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
The Sales and People Operations role will help you become an excellent communicator and negotiator. Learn how to influence people through tried and true methods from Transform's C-Suite team.
A People Person. You are able to empathize with prospective clients, quickly understanding their needs and concerns. You are able to screen prospective tutors for teaching personality and styles, and able to bridge the gap between prospective clients and our current tutors.
An Excellent Communicator. You are able to engage with a diverse group of people. You are able to be friendly yet professional while speaking to clients.
Proactive. You find gaps in our current Sales and People operations and are able to spearhead your own projects.
Flexible. You are able to adapt to a client's changing needs and requests, while maintaining professionalism.

Current university student or graduate

Technological capacity to provide virtual facilitation, as well as knowledge of virtual platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, etc.
Work experience in sales or customer service
Experience working with diverse communities - understanding varied needs, beliefs, etc.
Coursework in Communications, English, Psychology, or Marketing.
Experience with Airtable, Google Phone, Nextdoor, Facebook Pandemic Pod groups, and/or creating newsletters

During the virtual interview, you will be asked to role-play as a freelancer. Your interviewer will role-play as a parent seeking tutoring services, and inquiring about your services as a freelance tutor. Be prepared to market yourself and your services skillfully.
In this scenario, you will roleplay as a Transform Coordinator, marketing Transform's tutoring services, to convince a parent to try the service.
In this scenario, you will roleplay as a Transform Coordinator, marketing Transform's Capstone Project and Study Habit services, to convince a parent to try the service.
